Blinker hesitation

Blinker hesitation
Here's a quick question for you guys. I have a 98 SH and when the outside temp is cold the blinkers hesitate for a long time before starting to blink. However, when the outside temp is warm they come on as soon as I move the switch. I've done searches and most people say to check the contacts but since it only happens when the temperature is cold that must not be the problem. Anyone else ever experience this?

Nope. When I get on it in the morning it's when I'm going to work and on the weekends I don't wake up until it's already warm outside . I could always change the relay but I'm not super worried about it since I usually hand signal when I turn or change lanes anyway.

Yea my blinkers do it every time its around 30-40 degrees out takes like 30 seconds for them to start blinking.I have done usually made the corner by then thou.I dont think replacing the relay would help seems like a design issue unless they have corrected the issue in newer replacement relays. I dont let it bother me im usually WAY ahead of traffic anywayz.
