I just ordered and received a new Right Radiator for the VTR, and unfortunately, it is black. The part that I ordered is Honda Part Number 19010-MBB-D61

I think that Partzilla accidentally sent a black radiator for a 2004 (US) black VTR, because only the 2004 US SuperHawk has the Part Number 19010-MBB-A41. It might be that the only difference between 19010-MBB-D61 and 19010-MBB-A41 is the color.

Is it true that the only radiator for the US VTR that is black is for the 2004 black VTR, Honda Part Number 19010-MBB-A41?

Could be that all silver rads have all sold out - and odd black ones are the only ones available (as not often requested). As it's brand new could you simply spray it silver.

I think that you're correct on that assumption. I I think that the original part number for the black radiator ended in "A41," and Honda later transferred the A41 black radiators into the D61 inventory, because they were the only radiators left to be ordered. My local Honda dealership is going to call Honda PowerSports tomorrow to verify this. I will update the thread after they call me.
