BIKE DIES WHEN IDLING
Hey guys thanks for all your help I am now riding the theft recovery bike ,Occasionally when sitting at a light bike will die ,but will immediately restart ? any ideas carbs are spot on runs flawless

I've also found that carb synchronization is most critical at idle as well. You may want to; adjust your fuel mixture screws to baseline, sync your carbs, adjust your TPD to 500ohms, then set your idle to 1150rpm, or so.

FWIW, I never use the vehicle's tachometer to set an idle. While the old dwell/tach combo meter is outdated, it gives me a better idea of the actual idle. e.g. my TransAlp shows 1500rpms on the clock when it is set at 1100 rpms on the dwell/tach meter. If I set it by the clock...it would be too low.

For me I got the fuel mixture screws and richened the fuel mixture to the point that I nearly eliminated the carb fart/ stutter thing completely.
You may have to clean the idle/slow speed jets to help that too.
