Well, the funny thing is he got that completely ***-backwards... Since there have been half a dozen or so NZ and AUZ riders looking to remove the top speed restriction on their japanese VTR...

But then again, anyone painting their bike that color isn't to brigtht to begin with...

So a stock VTR with horrid color, and a lumpy refinished seat, dented OEM can's and solid footpegs as well as weird looking grips for $5300? And it will do 200? Wow... I musta done something wrong with mine...

Perhaps I should take a friend, and $5300 in cash..
And make a deal...... Friend holds the cash... if it'll do 200MPH cash is his.. if it will not, bike is mine. Heck I could part it for $200-300 easy.

the person who posted the ad is one of two things: a total moron who actually ebelives what he wrote (in which case I would wager his IQ is exceeded by his shoe size), or a total con, who is looking to prey on members of category 1........

hard to keep faith in the human species at times I must admit.....

 

Hey, maybe your right!? By the way, I have a set of stock pipes for sale if anyone wants to do 200mph, just let me know. Hope you got deep pockets though because these pipes are EXTREMELY RARE and not for beginners.

 

The plastics were replaced, grips were replaced, windshield was replaced...and he has "medical issues". Gee, wonder how that happened? Maybe he was trying to hit that 200mph and from all that wind, he had to pull his shorts back down with one hand, when his sandals got caught on the foot peg and tried to fix that problem with the other hand, and...

 

shorts, sandals.....so what you're saying is he's a Hardley owner.... well, it all becomes clear....... no wonder he thinks the VTR is the fastest thing ever built... a 200cc trail bike feels fast after getting off one of those.....

 

I want those 2 minutes of my life back from this thread.

 

I'm surprised it could collect so much dust being that fast.
