bikebandit.com has good prices. Don't forget the CCT gasket and exhaust copper crush gasket. Have you decided on OEM or manual CCT? Manuals are very easy to install when the motor is already apart.

Make sure you have access to a manual when installing the head. It outlines important torque specs for the head bolts (tightening down in steps and not all at once to ensure an even fit).

i haven't decided on manuals or autos. i was thinking of going stock because I am unsure on how to tighten or maintenance on manuals

Manuals are very easy when the valve cover is off. Once the chain and cam sprockets are installed at TDC, tighten the manual until there is about 1/4" of play in the chain between the sprockets. It doesn't have to be exact... but err on the loose end of 1/4". Then tighten the lock bolt down. I have not heard of anyone needing to ever adjust after this is set. Most people check and find it is still just the same after many thousands of miles. In other words, there's no real maintenance after you install them... I'd just check them when you check the valves every 28K miles.

Since you've taken the head off, you already have seen all the parts so it's less intimidating.
