Anyone ever run a120/65/17 front
I love my metzeler M3's.A 70 is called for but all the shop had was a 65 and a 60.I bought the 65 but havn't mounted it yet.Any thoughts or experince with this concept.

it's a little shorter tire & easier to run them up to the edges. it seems the profile for the 65 tire is more like a touring tire. if you ride hard take a look at the edge wear.
i prefer the 70 but would run a 65 in a pinch. i would NOT however do a trackday on one.

I'm running one right now and it did quicken the steering (a little). It felt a little odd the first ride on it, but got used to it quickly. It's a Bridgestone BT010 and probably a different profile than your M3....

In a bind, I ran a set of Pirelli Corsa "race take-offs" for about two weeks. The front was a 60 profile that was triangulated. Holy cow, talk about laying it over and hooking up! Man that thing carved like a filet knife.
