Howdy, I stumbled onto the forums shortly after I bought my latest cycle, a '98 Hawk with 17k miles. It's stock other than a K&N as far as I can tell. After reading several posts, it looks like I should watch cam chain tensioner and regulator/rectifier problems. Next summer I may look into aftermarket pipes and possibly handlebar risers and a seat, but we'll see. For now, I'll just lurk around here and pickup what info I can.
