another fork swap post....
ok since I need to rebuild mine in a couple months I figured I'd look into fork swaps while I'm at it... From what I've read these are my options for front fork swaps:
929/954
rc51
1000rr (saw this but still need to get clip ons to fit)
gsxr 1000
the gixxer1000 swap interests me the most as it's real unique... I can't for the life of me find more information on this other then I remember someone saying it's possible... the 929/954 swap also is interesting and sitting in the back as a reliable swap that's been proven... Anyone wanna share information on these two swaps? I don't think there'd be any advantage over the other then maybe the gixxer1000 would have a more aggressive setup stock then the 929 or 954... But the 929 and 954 are prob a lil easier to find and cheaper...
Also there's of course what I'm probably gonna do which is just a simple racetech upgrade with gold valves
