Americade in Lake George NY???

Americade in Lake George NY???
Buddies are going this year. I'm not one for crowds but the ride from here sounds great. Anyone know of a reason to go other than a great ride up? I'm sure they don't have those tire shredding contests that I live for.

I went to Lake George 4 times last year. Never go on a motorcycle weekend, the cops are nuts. Car weekends are pretty cool but the lodging prices go up. Plenty of great roads and crossing into Vermont is close. Downtown is a blast in the summer at night. We stay at the super 8 and there is a rib place a 5 minute walk that is the best chicken/ribs I've ever had. Ride around Lake Luzerne, HWY4, it is a blast, twisty for 20miles and great views of the lake.

don't shred your tire or you may need a ride back home. I like to do a burnout right before I take my tire off so it's nice and warm.

Sounds great. I'm going up with 4 others. I'll give it 2 nights. The web site says the crowds don't get heavy until later in the week. The cops are getting unfriendly around here as well. Road Blocks on Saturdays and Sundays. I guess I need to finally get an inspection. It's the 7th thru the 12th of June if any others decide to go.
