aluminum corrosion HELL YA! DRAIN CLEANER 50/50 water

WOW i have let my super hawk sit in Hawaii weather. I AM the idiot..
But i have lost my license form speeding and the sort... Im spending time overhauling the baby and i used a 50/50 solution of drain cleaner and water in a squirt bottle. WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR!!! EYES FIRST!! I SUGGEST A LIGHT BAKING SODA AND WATER PASTE ON THE HANDS BEFORE WEARING GOOD CHEMICAL PROOF GLOVES. I TRIED THE FIRST TIME WITH MY WITH MY WEDDING RING ON AND IT BROKE THE GLOVE NO BAKING SODA MY SKIN WAS GONE!.

Anyway this will literally chemically cook off aluminum corrosion. i used it to clean the radiators the, front fork, and the oil cooler. IT worked like magic. the corrosion was gone and the metal was clean again!! there are many cautions.
I was looking into repainting my aluminum. caustic soda,(lie) is the chemical anti-corrosive to salt air. Funny caustic soda is a costic salt it will counter act the oxcidation on your aluminum.

Caution this **** eats paint and other such items but Boy does it defrag the oil cooler fins and the radiator .

Best to have a pressure washer handy to neutralize the toxic base chemicals.

Really? You mean drain-o liquid?

Even though it sounds like an emergency room visit waiting to happen I have some ugly marks on my swingarm from an overflowing battery.

Sorry to hear about the clipped wings. Makes me appreciate the way it is here in NYC. The hard part is survival, not keeping your license. Most bikers here rarely get pulled over.
