After-fall questions...

My father took out my '03 Hawk last week, ended up missing the kickstand in the driveway, and it fell on its side. I've lost the left mirror, clutch lever, turn signal and cracked up the cowl.
Everything is getting replaced -no big deal- but I'm now second guessing the pedal gearshift. Mainly, I can't remember if it was curved inward before or if it was straight. -It curves inward now. OEM parts illustrations show a straight pedal, but it still feels "correct." I've not taken it out for a long ride to get a feel for it due to weather. Any input?
Thanks,
Brian

p.s. My dad's fine, but has lost his chance to con my mom into getting a bike at age 65.

Hey, Crestwood guy here. Can't wait for it to get warm. Maybe we can get the Hawks together and ride.

I just looked at my shift arm. Straight. No curves.

Crestwood here too, neighbor. Give me a week or two to get everything straight, and I've got a good network of friends to join up with.
Thanks for the quick input.

it's suppose to be straight, but if it feels good to you and you can still shift then your fine. just my opinion

Yeah, ease up on us old farts, I'm 62.

I did the same thing upon arriving at work 27 years ago. Pulled into the auto shop, turned the key off, then stepped off the bike. I was able to slow the fall, and without a fairing there was no damage. I was 35 then.
