So I went to the dealer today to pick up my new CCTs. I pay for them and some guy brings out two cam chain sliders. I looked at him like you better be joking. So it turns out he ordered the sliders cause they were the next number on his parts list under the CCT. Now I have to wait another week and my bike will be out of comission for the 4th and my 3 vacation days. Needless to say I was F*&^*&$g pissed off. I am thinking about asking for a refund and running my bike through their front window.

 

Oh and I forgot to mention that I drove 1 1/2 hours to get to this dealer cause they usually get me an awesome deal. Looks like I could have paid the full price and saved money when you figure gas into the equasion.

 

Actually, the Honda proper name for those parts is "Cam Chain Tensioner." The thing we all think of as the CCT is actually called the "Tensioner Lifter."
