Can you register/license a 49 state model VTR in California?

49 state vehicles can be registered in Ca. provided they have a minimum of 7500 miles on the odometer.

No sweat. And it's important to know about the 7.5k bullshit. 'Cause if you show up at DMV with a bike with 7499? you can't register it, even after you've put thousands more miles on it. And anyone you sell it to can't reg it either.

Thing to do is keep out of state reg and license with relatives or friends until you rack up the miles.

inde;

Yeah, you're all set. Are you selling a bike into Ca. or moving? Just curious, 'cause if I had a life and decent living in Prescott, you'd need a warrant, a Glock and backup to move me to Ca.!
