Is 42,000 miles a lot?

Hi I'm a new SH owner, just picked it up a couple days a ago havnt even riden it more than a couple minutes. So far I am happy with the bike, it's my 8th and my second Honda. I was worried about the mileage because I have never had a bike over 16,000 however when I started it up it ran as good as any thing I have ever owned so I bought it on the spot. It has carbon two bros exhaust, smoked shield, steel braided brake lines, solo cowl, and finger adjustable tabs on the forks which I have never had before. My questions are is this high mileage for the bike and can I still ride it hard at high RPMs? Also what are people getting out of their stock clutches. Lastly has any one put an extreme rear sprocket on? I have seen sprocket specialists make 41-71 so I am thinking about a wheelie monster. thanks A1C Messina

depends if the bike has been loved or not. I have about the same on mine and think she's fresh as a daisy.

Nice mods and they make great wheelie monsters

I went to a 43 tooth rear sprocket and like it better. Of course if you want strickly a wheelie machine going up more teeth than I did would be better.

My '02 doesn't like cold weather either - turns over real slow and its a new battery as well and I keep my "battery minder" on it. Batteries don't perform well when its real cold so thats probably the reason.
