FS: 2005 Super Hawk 3,000 miles
***SOLD***
Like brand new condition. Decided I want a proper sport tourer. All stock. Never down. Like brand new condition. Brand new Pirelli Diablo Rosso tires.
First $5,000 takes it home. Or, will trade for Aprilia Futura, CBR1100XX, or sporty bike with big seat.
I'm near Pittsburgh, PA.
email for pics.

That's a good price, for the right buyer. 1/2 price, like new. Can't get 'em any more.
Goodl luck with the sale!
Man, I would love to have a Blackbird!!

That is the 05 Titanium color. Looks idential to mine I personally like it, goes from really dark gray, to almost a dark sand brown depending on the light.
Good luck on the sale though.

I'm only asking what my dealer will give me on trade in. So, imho, I don't think I am.
Also, this bike has only been on the raod for two seasons, as I bought it new in 2007.
However, I don't think I should have to justify my asking price in my own for sale thread.
I appreciate those who have noted the price was fair.

Yeah, most forums don't allow that sort of pseudo-sabotage in a for sale thread. Is this place an exception?
FWIW, I paid 4K for one with 21K miles last summer. It definitely varies by market.

We let it slide sometimes. Once the name-calling and bashing begins, though, we have to step in a put a stop to it.
Unless you guys are bashing Rand. Then it's ok.
That is a beautiful color 59. GLWS.

Current issue of Motorcycle Consumer News lists Blue Book retail of an '05 VTR at $6190. I'd hang with it for now. If it doesn't sell you can decide to keep it until the economy picks up (hope) or lower the price.

The only thing not near brand new on that bike would've been the tires, and those are already changed.
If my Superhawk was stolen today, I'd buy that one tomorrow, and would even mind paying the airfare to get there.

$5k for a mint 2005 is right on target in my book. This is the second cheapest 2005 that I've ever seen listed. Beautiful bike! (yes I'm biased! )
