Talking 2003 Turbohawk

Hi everyone. I have a 2003 hawk that i have been building for about a year now. So I decided to finally post the specs on it since it is finished.

Specs: 2003 blue Super Hawk
Homebuilt t3/t4 turbo system
Nitrous fogger system pieced together from spare parts (30hp shot)
Factory pro 1.1ti jet kit
Yoshimura rs3 ( only 1 muffler due to turbo )
K&N filter
Modified carb boots
Modified velocity stacks
HKS blow off valve
17/43 sprockets
Smog parts Removed
190/50 rear 120/70 front michelin pilot powers (no traction)

I will now be a frequent user of the site now that i have some free time on my hands. Hopefully i will be dynoing the bike, and running down the strip in the upcoming weeks. Soon I will upload some pics for all to see.

I look forward to chatting with you all.

Yes, yes pix must see pics. My brother has been trying to get me to do a turbo ever since I bought my Hawk. Wonder if it's leagal for CCS racing that would make it a little more fair.

Bullshit! altough I could be wrong but i doubt it. Turbo'd and Nos would be a heck of a thrill ride but like said BS! one thing I don't get is saying no traction. this isn't a car. I can't think of a bike that has traction issues in a straight line. even the large hp turbo busas don't have traction issues. they have issues with not flipping the damn bike and keeping the wheel down

A. This guy is about to blow our minds and get bombed with questions.

B. This guy reads through the responses and never posts here again cause he got called the F out ! LOL

A large front sprocket is easier on a chain which would be beneficial when serving up large doses of HP.

Thread is USELESS without pics......

dont worry guys, i am getting the header back from ceramic coating tomorrow. i will post many pics for all you to see. And, i will go for option 3, smacking all of the naysayers at 342 mph. GPS clocked it at 198 with nitrous alone. no guesses on how fast it will go now. One thing is for sure, i need a swingarm about 18 inches longer than stock

and engoneno9, you take something as short and light as an shawk, and put well over a hundred ft/lbs to the ground. I weigh 300 lbs and the bike pulls the front end in second without the clutch without turbo, without nitrous.

Oh! now I understand... the bike is blue!! This is why you had to add a turbo and a "bottle" to make it goes as fast as a yellow one !!

That's a pretty big freaking turbo dude! What kinda boost you running, did you do anything to the engine, lower comp. or anything? Oh and the color thing's just a running gag but I think blue may be the fastest now.

yeah i know the color thing is a gag. Im only running 8 lbs of boost. the turbo is a turbonetics 60-1. Im just running stock compression for now. when i get boost happy, i will probably get some custom je pistons made.
