Looking to sell my 2000 superhawk. puig windscreen and framesliders other than that all stock. only has 6200 ml and is VERY VERY clean and well maintained. This bike has never been down. asking $2800. need to know if this is a fair price. I have pics. in the gallery.

 

that's a good price. i have the same bike, color and all. it has minor scratches from falling off the stand. yosh slip ons. 18000kms. paid $3300cad. and i think i got a great deal, i love that bike.

$2800 is too low unless you need to sell it tonight. I paid $3200 for a yellow 2000 with ~14K on it that was mostly stock this Spring; And it needed front brake rotors. But for NY in the Fall you might be close to going price. I would put it at about $3K at least to start.

I think you should be asking $3800 and willing to accept $3300 - It is coming up to winter, but if your bike is cherry there should be buyers. Have you tried Craig's list? I have have great luck there. Sold a friends BMW just a month back for close to blue book.

Definitely, I just bought a '98 for 2800.

 

I have recived about 8 hits from craigs list since my first post on the bike. considering the time of year i didnt think that was bad. half of them have been tire kickers but have had a few that are very intrested in my area. If it dosent sell over the winter iam giong to bump the price up to $3500 in the spring. If it dosent sell it wont break my heart, its a lot of fun..

 

So, is it for sale or is this a "How much should I sell my bike for?" thread. If it's for sale then I'll move this to classified. If not, well....I'll leave it alone.

Where in NY? The state is loooong, like 5hrs from NYC to Buffalo.
