03 hawk ?

I found a 03 superhawk with 153 miles on it at a local honda dealership for $6400. I think it a pretty good deal. Is there anything I should look for before picking this up.

Thanks

i got my 2000 with about 400 miles for same price back in 2001.
as long as there are no scratches and such sounds like a good buy.

but you have leverage on your side nobody is buying them.
try to knock the price down, you know play the game if they dont budge
look elsewhere. you can find left overs if you take the time to look around.
if you arent familiar with the shawk see if you can find someone to go with you. our birds make some unique sounds that throw some people who arent
familiar with them off. they can sound a little rattely and clunky at times, just the nature of the beast. look for around a 100 mi. tank range, wheelies galore
and the enzyte smile!
you may hear talk about camchains but if your smooth with your downshifts you shouldnt have a problem. all the small probs are just that. i had a clutch cylinder develop a leak but went away on its own. i also had a coil go on me but that was freakish. went for a ride and it ran great took it home and next day started it and it ran on one cylinder. out of warranty 50 dollar fix.

im very satisfied ,but i cant leave nothing alone ........hence

Hawxter...I hate to tell you this, but a roll of paper towels will not make a comfy seat.

05x - That sounds a bit high, I think. As has been stated, there are some leftover 05's out there...at a local dealership to me (Bert's Mega Mall), they had at least four 05's for $5999. Brand new.

I probably overpaid for my 02 in 03. But it is what I wanted so no remorse. Totally a lust purchase. BTW 11,000 miles and no issues what-so- ever except back tires

I have always liked the superhawk, I love the way it sounds especially with some two brothers cans. Plus (this might sound alittle gay, sorry) but the blue matches my truck. A 05 Tacoma Xrunner.
