Superhawker needs info

This is a strange question but this seems to be the best place to ask. I joined another forum (dont be sore) for another bike I ride (sv650). They never sent me a confirmation email & now I can log in but not post or reply!! How do I contact someone for help if I cant post or even reply? Its like being invisible. PLEASE HELP. I dont plan to leave here as the Hawk will always be my #1 but I need some parts for the sv. THANKS in advance SmokinJoe73

Some forums have rules and regs. that newbs must read in order to post and participate. Even fewer require an admin to activate your account. I would do some reading on the threads that start with, "NEWBIE, read this first!", "INSTRUCTIONS", or "IMPORTANT, READ ME!" Usually these are tracked threads that should show up at the top of the forums main thread list.

You may have to respond to a link that was sent to your email to validate your account information. More than likely the confirmation email was routed to your junk box. This forum used to run a verification system like that. Usually you can respond to an "email not rec'd option on the members page. They resend it and if your watching for it maybe you can pick it up this time.

OK, nuhawk, how do I find this "members" page. There is no option for this. I cant find ANY of these!. I am on several other forums & cannot figure it out. I dont have the normal cofirmation email (even junk mail). I searched all the words "newbie" "new member" etc with no avail.

Yea, I `m a retired Loudon racer. The SV has been converted back to a street bike and my son is riding it now. Do you need the whole rt. rear set or just the stock peg? I still have a box of racing spares, I`ll have to look and see what`s left.
Is this SV going to be a street bike a race bike? The reason I ask is that the stock can weighs 20+ lbs. Unless you`re racing the production class I don`t think you would want to use something like that. I know I still have an Ohlin`s shock, spare fuel tank, and belly pan if you`re interested.

Yeah, I definitely want the ohlins. The footpeg would need the whole assembly but I guess whatever you have. I was going to try the stock class so thus the boat achor pipes. I just bought the bike at an auction so I am slightly tight on cash & dont know what it needs 100%. PM me about what you have & what prices. I would love to also ride it on the street at some point. I have raced production twins for 10yrs & wanted to try the "new" ptwins class. Please let me know about the parts

Hey Smokin' I have a pair of Vortex rearsets hanging in the garage off a '97 gsxr750. You'd know better than I would but according the link I found below they fit. They're not perfect and have seen a little action but they're still basically straight and should still bolt up fine. PM me and I can send you pics/give you my # and would be happy to overdescribe them and you can have them for whatever you think is fair.

Hey RPV, yeah I didnt join the blimey forum, I "joined" the svrider.com. Problem is that I have spent a frustrating 20 min a day on it & cant post, cant contact an admin or anything. I am thinking of re-joining under a different name just to try to get the membership email again.!
