Forum and the terrible popups!

ive got the same issue on my phone only. screen goes dark because there is a big pop up ad. the problem is it wont let you scroll over to the X to close the ad so you have to close the forum and restart. would someone please explain how to get rid of the "ad words"?? i am using chrome.
