My buddy got one from them for his Gix 750 last year & really likes it. Looks cool. He got black for his yellow Gixxer. Figured yellow would look crappy pretty quick. A hugger would probably help a lot with that though.

As far as the mirror, forget it...they're useless anyway. Seriously tho, just keep checking eBay & one will come up. I always use the search & type - vtr* - and it pulls up usually 250 items.

If your gonna run around without a license plate they look great otherwise the only thing you can see is a new tail light section. Why does everyone seem to like these? What am I missing? Just me :P

The rumble import lights have the turn signals in the tail lights sortof like an integrater. So IMOP it looks better than the one with the lights exterior.

ya know...I didn't think about that 
I think I'll e-mail'em and find out. I have seen some guys who put it way up under the fender but I am not sure how legal that is. You can see it from the rear fine but not from the sides

I totaly agree about the Mototeck choice, this is the best one in the market!
Maybe i'm a bit in interest conflict, it's my bike on the picture!!!
And, No you dont have to duck tape your license plate, a plastic support come with the undertail, as long as the license light. Very comple and very AWESOME kit. This is my second undertail kit from Mototeck ( I also had the first generation) and I would recommend this new one to anybody!!! For me, I'm very very satisfied

Legaly the cops can ticket you if you dont have a light shining on the lisc. plate.
Down here bikes that have there plate way under the back are a target for the LEO's

I understand your concerns, I had the same when I decided to put an undertail on my VTR. And the Mototeck was the only one that I have found, that integrate the turn signal, provide a licence plate holder ( at a good place, not too hidden or far away under the bike ) AND a licence plate light. With of course a very nice look!!
