I just want to wish everyone a happy and safe riding season. Everyone is starting to ride here again and I see some pretty stupid stuff already.

Anyway, I hope everyone gets to have one of those moments when you're riding and you can see nature or the surrounding geography from outside of a cage and have one of those "Damn! I'm lucky!" moments. The kinds of things that you can't even really express to people who don't ride, because they wouldn't (can't possibly) understand how beautiful our country is from the seat of a motorcycle. I wish we could do a blessing of the bikes or something. (If you're an atheist, we'll make sure you find a penny on heads)

Thanks for the good wishes.... in this sport it can't hurt to have some good kharma, prayers, thoughts or whatever in your back pocket.

Oh, and a guardian angel shooing away the deer and dogs, and tapping on the shoulder of the inattentive left turning motorists helps, too.
