I concur. When you sit on them, they beg to be flogged and have at least 12 tanks of gas put through them on every ride =)

On the right days, the Superhawk can beg, but your **** will say no =p

On the other hand, the new speed triples look like an elephants **** and would not take one if given to me.

Yea. i bought my SH in 99 and still have her, but i got hungry for a KTM v-twin a couple of summers ago and bought this bike. Pic is a little old, since then i removed the high mount front fender and installed a low over the tire Carbon Fiber fender.

Bike is a blast to ride

Nice Guzzi (FWIW, I've always been in love with the MGS-01) and Katoom (must confess I would be hard pressed not to buy the new SM-T if I was in the market for something new....)

Maybe this doesn't count since it's not completely stock, but the Ducati Sport 1000 with a few mods is my lust at the moment. I saw one similar to this parked in a parking lot a few weeks ago, except the one I saw had dual shorty megaphone exhausts, one on each side. It had Ohlins on front and rear, and radial brembos. And of course it was red, like all bikes should be.

I've always liked the looks and sound of a Moto Guzzi sport bike.

Yup, the new monsters are mighty sexy. I've been lusting over this pic for sometime. My previous lust was for a black Sport Classic like the one evines posted... beautiful. Too bad Ducati insists on having dry clutches and glitchy electronics.

I will make an attempt to argue:

I am just loving vintage right now. I like that it is something that not every tom, dick and harry can get their paws on. If it can be reproduced tomorrow, it is hard for me to put value in it. Maybe when all these new bikes are old I can appreciate them more.

I am working on getting the cb350four this summer. It will end up a custom deal, as it is ratty.

Hey, If you haven't ridden the 350four, you can't speak to its merits. I ride a lot of bikes every year, this is top ten material for sure.

Well, then, please speak of it's merits! I'm fairly open-minded. About bikes anyway.

Don't worry Bill. I'm in your camp as well. I like older cafe's myself. I've been really holding myself back from one of these.

My dad picked up a 350four at the end of last year. Very cool bike, but the first ride impressions left me favoring the twins.

I know there are some seasoned (read, old) gents on here that know what I am feeling. My HS students, all but for a few, would walk right past any of the bikes I posted to look at a gsxr 600. Someone has to keep training these kids as to what is actually cool.
