Sexiest bike?

I must say, the new Monster 1100 EVO is one sexy bike....... I think I'm in lust, lol

bass4dude 06-15-2011 05:16 PM

I concur. When you sit on them, they beg to be flogged and have at least 12 tanks of gas put through them on every ride =)

On the right days, the Superhawk can beg, but your arse will say no =p

On the other hand, the new speed triples look like an elephants arse and would not take one if given to me.

cliby 06-15-2011 08:22 PM

I think I want the new tuono. Its a bike I could see finally parting with my sh for.

Yea. i bought my SH in 99 and still have her, but i got hungry for a KTM v-twin a couple of summers ago and bought this bike. Pic is a little old, since then i removed the high mount front fender and installed a low over the tire Carbon Fiber fender.

Bike is a blast to ride

It's nice but I like previous generation monster better.

This is what I have been lusting over lately:

mikstr 06-16-2011 05:45 AM

Nice Guzzi (FWIW, I've always been in love with the MGS-01) and Katoom (must confess I would be hard pressed not to buy the new SM-T if I was in the market for something new....)

Maybe this doesn't count since it's not completely stock, but the Ducati Sport 1000 with a few mods is my lust at the moment. I saw one similar to this parked in a parking lot a few weeks ago, except the one I saw had dual shorty megaphone exhausts, one on each side. It had Ohlins on front and rear, and radial brembos. And of course it was red, like all bikes should be.

Nekkid Duc's don't get it for me. They have to have a body!!

Pretty hard not to love something of 916 lineage....

oahu hawk 06-16-2011 08:19 PM

Kinda like my retirement gift to myself...

My old solid black '78 CX500 (modded for canyon racing, not your generic CX) was more than once mistaken for a Guzzi, 25 to 30 years ago, even though it said HONDA on the tank.

I've always liked the looks and sound of a Moto Guzzi sport bike.

I wanted one of those so bad back in 1972/73, when I was going to college. But my ex wife didn't agree. 4 valve engine

autoteach 06-16-2011 09:13 PM

It has been a blast so far

Yup, the new monsters are mighty sexy. I've been lusting over this pic for sometime. My previous lust was for a black Sport Classic like the one evines posted... beautiful. Too bad Ducati insists on having dry clutches and glitchy electronics.

Can't argue with that.

I will make an attempt to argue:

I am just loving vintage right now. I like that it is something that not every tom, dick and harry can get their paws on. If it can be reproduced tomorrow, it is hard for me to put value in it. Maybe when all these new bikes are old I can appreciate them more.

VTRsurfer 06-16-2011 10:43 PM

Touche'

autoteach 06-16-2011 10:49 PM

I am working on getting the cb350four this summer. It will end up a custom deal, as it is ratty.

Wolverine 06-16-2011 11:04 PM

Well, beauty (sex appeal) is in the eye of the beholder. I wouldn't want to bang any of those except the girl!!:D

Wolverine 06-16-2011 11:10 PM

Everyone that thinks this is.....

Raise your hand.

autoteach 06-17-2011 06:09 AM

Hey, If you haven't ridden the 350four, you can't speak to its merits. I ride a lot of bikes every year, this is top ten material for sure.

Well, then, please speak of it's merits! I'm fairly open-minded. About bikes anyway.

Don't worry Bill. I'm in your camp as well. I like older cafe's myself. I've been really holding myself back from one of these.

Pimpsterbim1 06-17-2011 09:48 AM

My dad picked up a 350four at the end of last year. Very cool bike, but the first ride impressions left me favoring the twins.

autoteach 06-17-2011 10:07 AM

What was the problem? Too smooth?

I know there are some seasoned (read, old) gents on here that know what I am feeling. My HS students, all but for a few, would walk right past any of the bikes I posted to look at a gsxr 600. Someone has to keep training these kids as to what is actually cool.
