Yesterday I had the opportunity to do a road bike ride with Bob Roll and I tell ya I don't think I've ever met a nicer guy. He's personable and very humble and fast, as he dropped me coming back on a 40 mile ride at 35 mph Man, I wish I could ride like that!

He didn't even hesitate when I had him signed my calf

 

that's awesome. my first job was at a bike shop (before i could even legally work) and i've been obsesses with anything on 2 wheels since. he was still racing when i first got into the scene... back when tinker juarez and jon tomac were the guys to beat.

i'm jealous man. It's nice to hear that there are still some generally nice and outgoing celeb types out there.

One of the main reasons why I watch the Tour every year. I get pissed about some of the riders / teams. But he and Phil Ligget keep me tuned in for nearly a month every year.

very cool, very funny guy and quite a biker. You must be in pretty good shape to stay most of the ride in a group with him

 

Just not strong enough to stay with those big dawgs, but maybe one day
