Well, i do live in shreveport now, but i spent my first 19 years in Akron, Ohio. I remember having to take my mustang to the car wash to hose off all the salt, and in night school once i had to pee on my door lock cylinder to unfreeze it so i could get in my car. true story.

For those that haven't tried this particular combination yet, the best way to drink Sailor Jerry is with Cranberry. (ocean spray is what I use, none of that glass container unfiltered stuff)

I got some serious catching up to do on the forum.... The in-laws had me drunk for 2 days straight. I think im still hungover from saturday. we definately broke in thier new game room / bar the proper way. I ended up sleeping almost under the pool table, and was fine with that.
-Eagle Rare.. 90 proof HOLY &(#@ that stuff is strong. I think it made me grow hair in places i didnt think was possible.
-Wild Turkey special breed... 109 proof. smooth and will knock you out if youre not paying attention.
-someone putting goldschlager in your beer when you arent paying attention = blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhit.
It was a complete drunk fest. hope everyone had a great xmas! im going to hide under my desk now.

Hot Apple Cider w/ Rum
1 apple
2 teaspoons whole cloves
1 orange, thinly sliced
2 quarts apple cider
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon allspice
Pinch grated nutmeg
1 cup dark rum
Cinnamon sticks, garnish
Stud the apple with the cloves. In a medium pot, combine the studded apple and remaining ingredients except the rum. Slowly bring to a simmer over low heat. Simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the rum. Discard the apple. Ladle into mugs and garnish each with a cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.
