I'll be happy to get rid of my Glock. Good, reliable weapon, but I'm just not into the pointability. I have a 1911 as well, and would love to get a HiPower. Should I only be sticking to the Belgium ones, or are later ones good as well?

I have never heard anything concrete either way on the Hipowers..other than the seat of the pants test, which seems to be that the Belgium made Hipowers are the bomb!
Dad used to have a couple of Belgium Browning Shotguns, gold trigger, 20ga, and sweet 16...Like an idiot he sold them 8 or 10 years ago...I would have bought them from him in a heart beat had I known he was selling them..think he got $800 each...crazy...

The Argentine FMs are the same as the MkIII now. I think they're very good and a bunch less money. If I didn't already have the Brownings I'd buy one.
I've handled and fired most of the pistols out there and the HiPower fits my hand better than any other full size pistol. It's my personal favorite.

A CZ P-01 is my current 'smaller' carry gun. Pointability, sights, and reliability have been great, with no FTF's or FTE's, unlike my last carry gun, a Ruger P97 .45ACP. That was a great shooter, and I traded it away for the Glock for more than I paid new for it. CZ is an underrated gun, and I love mine. I heard the sights on the old HiPowers were bad, so thanks for the advice.
As for the Belgium Browning shotguns, I wish that I would have bought a few of the Belgium A-5's that I ran in to about 10 years ago. I'd probably keep one and sell the rest.

was in the local gun shop a week or so ago.. they had a 50 cal they were asking $2700 for.. First time I've seen one in person. That thing was huge. I cant imagine carrying that thing around for a couple days at a time..

Excellent choice, my friend. I, too, like that round, but have not shot one. The nice thing about that round is that you can usually get a second barrel for .40 S&W (and vice versa) for a particular gun. I never thought about a 40 being a 'practice' round until I saw the prices of .357 Sig ammo. I guess that's why I bought an XL650.
9MM is the smallest round that I will carry. The CZ is a nice package, and as far as power is concerned, I don't see anyone volunteering to take a 9mm to the chest when 'they' talk about it being weak. Better to have a 9mm than nothing at all. I wouldn't mind getting a Sig 226 or 229 in .357Sig though....

My local shop has one of those as well. A local bail bondsman that I talked to at a shop bought one of those. Dude was like, 6'3, 260 lbs, and told me that it was 'very interesting' to shoot....

As for calibers, I carry both .40 and or 9mm...depends on what I am wearing that day..
In a situation where you would have to use either, I don't think caliber is gonna matter a whole hell of a lot..I mean, the gun is gonna go bang several times, lead is gonna fly, hopfully hitting your target 10-15% of the time if your lucky, and the perp is gonna die or run like hell...

It's really about what is comfortable to you, and what you can handle...And don't get caught up in the type of ammo, any good JHP will do just fine...stay away from +P loads, as they will wear your gun out faster, and really, if a good quality JHP won't do the trick, then your fucked anyway! LOL..

If you are the seller...then I would go with USPS, cheapest, no insurance unless you pay out the waazoo...but I have never had a problem shipping out of the country with them..
UPS would be my second choice, if you feel the need to be able to track it and or add reasonable insurance to the package...

It is my son's toy tractor... He paid $100 for it and sold it for $71...He dropped it on the hardwood and broke it in peices....I showed pictures in the ad and fully described the damage...
