I knew guys who would leave them on for days at a time in Iraq, most of them worked out ok. The ones that didn't, I suspect dust more than anything.

I thought about adding one of those cooling fans to ours, but just don't know how many issues I would be avoiding....Is cooling a big deal with these things???

Yes, cooling is a big deal.. good ventilation.. dont buy the add on fans.. they actually add more heat than they get rid of... at least that's what I read... Also, dont move the console while a disc is in it.. could scratch the disc.. something with the read head hitting the disc..

No problems with it other than the picture quality on the TV is not that good. I think I need to get him a new cord or something.

Interesting...I need to move it as it is in my entertainment center, and probably needs a little more vent room...
could buy a small portable fan and set it next to the thing, have it blow are at the fins or something...cheap, and wouldn't cause any additonal heat...
