I have been looking at clearance snowmobile clothing online.

 

The other morning I was out and it was upper 30's to start out, it wasn't too bad...then again I was bundled up...

 

I just cannot see putting down another $400 for clothing that I need for 2.5 months a year.

 

I was thinking about a one piece suit, or snow boarding suit...

 

that's too much, they will be cheap at Dick's sporting goods, if they are on clearance...

 

I found some nice jackets for $50 at dennis kirk but they do not have my size.

 

I haven't done any searches yet, might look into it...been too busy with the mods...

what kind of chain lube you using? I tried that PJ1 blue can once, didn't care for it..been using oil, but I want to get something in a can that I can carry...

 

Yea, the HJC blue one. I would love one in my size.

 

I have always liked Maxima Chain Wax. Had good results with it.

It does not sling everywhere. The "O" and "X" ring chains do not need a lot of lube anyway. If you load them up then that attracts dirt.

 

Just grab a set of ski bib's... Normally when i would ride under 45 deg. or so, i would put my ski bib's (no, i have never ski'd before, but have them for 4wheeling in the winter)... but anyway, put my ski bibs on over jeans, and boots.. Then put my riding jacket on over a normal shirt, then my larger jacket over my riding jacket, and i'm good to go...

I think i paid $40.00 for the ski bibs...
