turns out its $70 to ship the god damn thing cuz its so big. great.........
he wouldnt use paypal so now I have to go cash his money order and send him a check.

Yup, funky size...I came up with $35 on shipping...Has nothing to do with weight...

 

Anytime you want to sell something it is a good idea to get an accurate shipping quote from UPS.com or usps.com then add a buck or two, just in case...

Honest mistake, if the buyer wants the item bad enough, just split the difference with um....that being about $25 to $30, you both chip in $15 and call it a day...

 

Im sending him his money back. I bought the thing a year ago for $50 and I just sold it for $40 plus $10 shipping. Not worth my time to lose money.

 

actually I did and it came out $8.35 but it didnt estimate the "oversize package charge."

 

you have to put in the size, not just the weight....been there done that, is sucks...

 

i did put the size in but it said for sizes bigger than blah blah you have to go to office.

 

Weird...it let me do it...you should get your own account, it does not cost anything, and you get a better price on shipping, then say taking it to a UPS store...
Just remember to always us commercial when shipping...not residential...LOL>..out of 25 packages, they may catch it 2 or 3 times, and charge me the difference...it saves a few bucks here and there...

 

Just chalk it up as an act of philanthropy.
