Obamageddon!

I have read that the administration's new policy on space is to simply pay the Russians 51M per head to put our astronauts into space. Didn't we just spend billions of dollars building the space station up there and now we have to take a taxi to it?

When or if you realize how much power AIPAC has over american policy and politics, news, entertainment and information media, industrial and technological infrastructure, and virtually every other crucial area of our society, you'll begin to see that outward appearances of humility and respect and/or apparent disregard mean nothing to the real intentions of these actions. I'm not anti-semetic per se, that is to say, I don't hate any jews personally, however i strongly resent the fact that they have taken over our leadership and thereby the control of this country. So like it or not, in consideration of their power and influence, we all work for them and their beloved Israel. Obama and Clinton just happen to be the present-day manifestation of this subservience.
What percentage of Israeli Jews believe Obummer is a "friend of Israel"? 12%.
http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1108976.html
What percentage of American Jews voted for Obummer? 78 Freakin' percent!
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7...618408,00.html
Clearly, 78% of American Jews don't give a rat's *** about Israel, their religion is not Judaism, despite the lip service, their religion is Big Government Socialism. It's easy to understand. If your chief identity was "Jewish" rather than "American", why would be living in a country that was 90%+ Christian when you could fly to Tel Aviv in 6 or 7 hours and claim your Israeli citizenship? Maybe because Israeli citizenship requires you and/or your children to serve in the IDF? Maybe you're less likely to be killed by Hamas or Hezbollah in your upper West Side apartment than you would be in Tel Aviv?
For the 88% of Israeli Jews, and 22% of American Jews who know what Obummer is, I support Israel.

[QUOTE=RK1;261895]AIPAC is a lot less powerful than you or they imagine themselves to be. The base of American support for Israel is not American Jews, it is conservative American Christians.
Sorry if i offended your religion or persuasion here, but I don't like special interest groups like AIPAC managing this country.
Here, watch a little TV. You'll get the idea of how little power AIPAC exerts over our gov't. I guess 7 million dollars a day for years and years of American tax dollars and unparalleled military training, technology and equipment given to israel wasn't enough to convince you of what's happening here, or...............................???

Nathan;
Not Jewish and not offended. Just don't believe AIPAC is as all powerful as it and some other folks believe. As if a small group of very clever Jews are managing to extort from America things that 90% of citizens would object to in the first place.
The point I was making a few posts up has nothing to do with what anybody thinks of Israel or Jews. It was how Obama is somewhere between aloof to hostile to our free western allies but bows like stepinfetchit to every third world tin pot dictator he meets.
PS When government has become so huge, so intrusive, inserting itself into every facet of every life, of course groups will buy a piece of it...for financial gain, to promote ideology or simply pay the bastards off to keep them from screwing you worse than they do already.
The ONLY answer is make it small, back within the Constitutional limits demanded by the founders.
Unless and until people are willing to demand that, complaining about "special interests" is a complete waste of time.
You see, the problem isn't "special interests" per se. The problem is a government big enough, powerful enough, corrupt enough, intrusive enough to sell them what they want.

RK: It's really too late for this country. Our, I mean their, country is already under AIPAC/special interest control. When I think back to the 70s, we were really well on our way down the tubes 40 years ago.
I tried to get out of this country when we were in Viet Nam, mainly because i am diametrically opposed to attacking anyone who hasn't invaded you. A few years earlier, when I was in high school, it was a completely different story. I wanted to get my hands on a flame thrower and a tank with a big gun and wreak general and widespread havoc. I really wanted to bomb ****. Too many of those World War II Audie Murphy movies i guess? hahaha.
But, shortly after High School, I changed my thinking, or should I say the lack thereof. I wasn't drafted because of college/dependent deferrals, albeit I would have definitely chosen jail before I would ever subscribe to a Viet Nam, Iraq, or any other war that was not justified by anything less than outright invasion. I was working on a visa for Australia, but this was later abandoned when the wife refused to go. Why OZ? I don't know, didn't want to go to Europe because of their history of colonialism and the negative ways they used and abused people. Whatever, I abided by her wishes since we had by then amassed 4 kids, and i wouldn't leave her or them if they weren't going to join me later once I had found work and could take care of them. It turned out that I was right to want to get out of here then and I'm still convinced that it would have been the right thing to do after all this time. Then i would have had one of those OZ Firestorms and would have been corresponding from the land down under. hahaha
I was headin down the road in the middle of the night somewhere in alabama, my big old yella A-Car pointed toward mardi gras with 47,000 lbs of Nucor steel out of philly, when i heard the newscast on public radio. Bush 1 had invaded Iraq. "These people had never even looked at us cross-eyed and we were invading their country," I was thinking with watery eyes. I couldn't believe that Viet Nam was happening all over again and I knew this was the last straw for me in terms of feeling any love, allegiance, or alliance for any country that invades others that don't first aggress against them. That this could happen not just once, but twice in my young lifetime was enough to force me overboard, to abandon ship. Depressing **** when you're physically tied here with your family and your history, but emotionally somewhere far away from these uncivilized and atrocious behaviors. Kinda like being in a prison without walls.
When obummer was campaigning, although he was never my first choice, i rather naively, perhaps wishfully, thought he might be the modern day Martin Luther King. Of course we all know it didn't take long to discover that this was merely a pipedream. Wishing really is for fairies, huh. Once I heard him and Hillarious Clinton obsequiously patronizing AIPAC at one of their infamous Washington pep rallies, I knew he was nothing but another crooked politician who was bought and paid for.
Nothin personal against others here with counter opinions. I sent care packages to friends in Nam back then even though, but just my story. Don't really give too much of a **** about **** i can't do anything to stop at this time, so, to get my spirit uplifted a little, I'll just to sing a little song fer ya......... "I don't want no pickle, I just wanna ride my motorcycle". hahahaha

Obama bowing to the World.
"Obama has disgraced the United States- again."
By bowing, Mr. Obama has degraded and cheapened the office of the Presidency"
"His actions reflect a fundamental,. reflexive anti-Americanism- a profound contempt and hatred for his own country"

I sure as hell have a sense of disgust for Obummer. Ethnic gestures of humility and respect are appropriate, however they should be mutual. But to me, once i learned Obos agenda, I could care less if he sticks his finger up his *** while he kisses him.

Of course poor people have food stamps. If they're willing to put down the 40 oz malt liquor and crack pipe for a few minutes, they can pack their kid whatever lunch they want! Ha!

Actually one of my best memories of Reagan is how he ignored the peace through groveling appeasement crowd, bankrupted and crushed the Soviet Union, and freed about 350 million people from tyranny without firing a shot.
Reagan is the last President we've had who's foreign policy reflected giving a rat's *** about human rights and liberty.
Reagan wasn't perfect, he made mistakes, a few big ones. He just looks perfect compared to the four shitbirds who've occupied the White House since Jan. 1989

For anyone who still thinks Obama is the greatest thing since chunky peanut butter, just read Mark Steyn's column for today, 4/18/2010. If you don't think Mark Steyn is spot on, you should move to Iran and start converting people to Christianity and see how well you are accepted.
You can catch his column at "marksteyn.com", and look up the column, "SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NUKE". It's quite entertaining, and very true.

OBAMA'S ILLEGAL ALIEN AUNT IS GRANTED ASYLUM!
http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-3...mains-a-secret
As we all know, Multi-Millionaire Obama cares deeply for the poor and unfortunate! He has arranged for his Kenyan-Illegal-Alien Aunt to be granted asylum in the USA, where she will continue to receive her taxpayer funded welfare housing, her welfare check, and her food stamps! Hope and Change!!!
Or;
What kind of multi-millionaire piece of **** would allow his own Auntie to be dependent on welfare from the tax dollars of truck drivers, waitresses and ditch diggers who make 1/50th the money of the jerk who won't pay to help his own Aunt?

The President of Mexico (kind of like saying the Dollar Store Manager)
comes to our country and blasts Arizona along with Obama then gives this
interview:
BLITZER: So if people want to come from Guatemala or Honduras or El
Salvador or Nicaragua, they want to just come into Mexico, they can just
walk in?
CALDERON: No. They need to fulfill a form. They need to establish their
right name. We analyze if they have not a criminal precedent. And they
coming into Mexico. Actually...
BLITZER: Do Mexican police go around asking for papers of people they
suspect are illegal immigrants?
CALDERON: Of course. Of course, in the border, we are asking the people,
who are you?
And if they explain...
BLITZER: At the border, I understand, when they come in.
CALDERON: Yes.
BLITZER: But once they're in...
CALDERON: But not -- but not in -- if -- once they are inside the --
inside the country, what the Mexican police do is, of course, enforce
the law. But by any means, immigration is a crime anymore in Mexico.
BLITZER: Immigration is not a crime, you're saying?
CALDERON: It's not a crime.
BLITZER: So in other words, if somebody sneaks in from Nicaragua or some
other country in Central America, through the southern border of Mexico,
they wind up in Mexico, they can go get a job...
CALDERON: No, no.
BLITZER: They can work.
CALDERON: If -- if somebody do that without permission, we send back --
we send back them.
BLITZER: You find them and you send them back?
CALDERON: Yes.
What's the difference?

There's a video on YouTube that Barry Soetoro would prefer you not see. In fact it's titled "Obama doesn't want you to see this".
Whether you believe any of it or not, it brings up some very important issues about our supreme leader and teleprompter-in-chief.

This thread has been dormant entirely too long. We are ninety days from the fight for our lives. The powers in Washington are selling us out. Soon we will be peasants to foriegners and they will be off scott-free. Barney Franks, Charley Rangel, the Unions and their heritage debt, this is the stuff they still want to spend on - it doesn't count the trillions that have already been commited.

The Campaigner-in-Chief gave a speech today at a Jeep (government motors) assembly plant in Detroit. It turned into a campaign speech, with Barry-O stating, in so many words, that none of the people working at that plant would have their jobs if the Republicans had their way.
He's been doing nothing but campaigning (and playing golf, shooting hoops) since he took office 18 months ago. Oh that's right, I forgot, he's also been talking down to the American public like we don't know ****, and he (along with Pelosi, et al) will enact legislation we don't want...for our own good.
#802
The threads creator is a friend of mine. Others here too. In these times we can take nothing for granted. they will enslave our wifes and our children to make their dreams possible. Obamamuslim is upon us.

Where are are the Obama supporters from the beginning of this thread? It is funny to read their optimistic comments. Too bad their hopes of change have been dashed on the rocks of reality.

I'm sorry to break the news to you nuhawk, but it's already way too late. Politicians are owned by corporate special interests, the news media is 95% propaganda disseminators, government agencies work for corporations, the education system is at work brainwashing/dumbing down our youth, and too-busy texting Americans are asleep at the wheel. Don't waste your time and energy on fruitless pursuits unless you don't have anything else to do, or unless banging your head against a rock wall somehow provides you a measure of relief. Enjoy the time you have left, ride your wheels off, read some good books, help others, love yourself, and don't pay attention to the news.
#805
I guess you haven't noticed the lobby/government/corporate revolving door methodology that has gradually usurped the republican democracy(an experiment gone awry) over the last 50 years. The political ruling class is nothing more than a pawn for insidious corporations. Protect this bullshit all you like and stick you facist/leftist innuendos where the sun doesn't shine because I really don't care to waste my time convincing people of the obvious. If you think you have any power to effect postive change, knock yourself out. I'm not interested anymore. guday mate!

never happen here anymore unless someone takes away everyones' toys! Then you'll see some real baby tantrums. hahaha
There's not enough Americans who care enough to risk anything for righteousness because most can't even distinguish it from their own selfishness. This country had the opportunity to lead the world in positive directions but never nourished the goodness necessary to allow us to make such a commitment. No meaningful long term culture to instill and propagate good qualities in the young through influence of hierarchical extended family and morally based institutions, no teaching of self necessary to understand real good from what is rationalized to be right for personal gain, and no teaching of self to learn the discipline to control human inclinations toward greed, aggression, and competition so that we can know when enough is enough have all served to diminish the American moral character DeToqueville described in Democracy In America. The writing is on the wall in terms of this failed American experiment we are all now living, and there is really nothing any of us can do about it. So forget about it and move on with your life and don't be too concerned because mother earth will eventually make it all better.

I just finished watching the political rally...I mean Memorial, in Tucson Arizona. Obama treated this Memorial for an unspeakable tragedy as a photo op. What was with all the cheering after each sentence spoken by Obama? Disgusting! He was speaking like an Evangelical Minister at one point.
The nut case who perpetuated this horrible deed will pay with his life, one way or another, but the politicizing of this atrocity makes me sick.
