look what followed me home!

needed a new project. needs a little re-viving but basically in pretty good shape. don't find them very often and this was nearby and a good price. small, but what handling. v4 redlines at 14K and a great sound.

LUCKY BASTARD!!! Isn't that an 18" rear rim on those? Any good tire choices? I used to have an FZR400 and loved it....

Luckily they went to 17 both ends and USD forks when they went from the vtr400 to the rvf.

At first I thought it was an RC45 because of the inverted forks. nonetheless, a great find!

thanks guys. I'm excited about a new project and also to have something like this for track days too.

unfortunately the rc45 and 30 as you know have just gone through the roof price wise. these though very hard to find were abundant in japan and are still pretty reasonable price. I like the prospect of great handling, and underpowered is somehow getting more appealing as I get older
