I had the exact thing happen at 110mph, but unfortunately I ended up going down. A couple of buddies were riding behind me at the time and they said that both my front wheel and back wheel were coming off the ground and hopping from side to side violently. I was ejected from the bike and landing on my right side breaking my collar bone and then spinning 360 degrees making my way to my feet and actually sliding to a stop. I'm a good snowboarder, so maybe that helped. I slid on my feet for roughly 450 feet. The cops measured the bike sliding 525 feet. The bike slid on the magnesium foot pegs making for a neat shower of sparks and grinding them down to nothing. This all happened on 9/19/99. That date will forever live in my head.

 

He should have gotten back on the gas sooner, hard to think about when you are crapping your pants but that's the safer way to calm a tank slapper
