D.C Cycle Show

Anybody else there over the weekend? The show was pretty crowded but I was able to throw a leg over whatever I wanted. Still love the VFR 1200. CB 1000 looks great but I think I'd go with the new ZX 10 from Kawi for the money. Only change I'd make to the show is "NO KIDS"! A million greasy fingered, dirty faced kids were constantly under foot and in the way. The stunt show was awesome if you got your spot early enough to see anything. Those guys are incredible. And to accent how well they control their bikes, I saw a guy try just to sit on a Speed Triple and go tumbling over. CRASH! No stunt circuit for him. P.S. $15 to get in didn't seem too bad but the $20 to park 4 blocks away was a killer.

I drove all the way up for the Michigan IMS show and it was not very crowded. Im sure the DC show was way bigger since Michigan didnt have Triumph and a lot of others there. Mabey thats why it was only $11 to get in. The stunt show was cool. Got to see Jason Britten walk right by me. The cb1000r and Ninja 1000 where by far my favorite.

Did they have the Ducati Diavel in Michigan? That drew a big crowd. Definitely different looking.

The Diavel is interesting, kinda like Italy's answer to the Harley Rocker C.

Or a new V-Max with a bit of Eye-talian style.

No ducati at all in Michigan. It was Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Harley, and Hyosung. That is it. It was really kind of a let down. Im gonna have to go to DC next time
