Corvette crash into semi
#11
the way the rear step on that trailer went right through the drivers side I would guess he is in multiple pieces. In a car that low to the ground the guys head would have been at the bottom of the trailer doors. Only thing i dont understand is How did the tire get under that bumper without damage to it or the rim. Photo shop job or one in a million shot?

That looks like the same photo that I put on the bulletin board in the shop at my school several years ago, before I retired. I'd gotten it in an email from a friend.
It looked like a decapitation to me, where the driver was driving faster than his brain could function.

If you look close by the mudflap on the trailer you can see the lower crossbar of that bumper that was torn off, thats why the vettes rim and tire are still intact. He had to been hauling *** to do that though, I'm a heavy duty mechanic and those bumpers will take a beating.....I read more about this and they say that the truck was stalled on the side of the highway when it happened too. Quick way to weed yourself out of the gene pool thats for sure.
