I finally got my hands on the new Bad Brains album and it kicks ***. Just thought i should let everyone know.

 

New, as they're back together? I played in a band that opened up for them back in the 80's. They were fantastic, HR doing back flips across the stage, and then breaking it down and doing the reggae thing. I've been out of the music scene for a long time, so no idea what's happening lately.

 

you know how they are, going back and forth...sometimes together sometimes they arent.... but yeah, the new album is the original lineup, some hardcore and some reggae... HR is a nut, i think he smokes that **** too much. lots of people complain that he has lost his mind, but i think they are still awesome considering their age. thats cool you have played for them before. i played a lot of ska and punk rock when i was a younger guy in Atlanta, but ended up just not playing so much as i graduated college and getting married, etc. if you want some of the album i can send it to you on AIM.
