Anyone have a Jeep? let's hear about it!
My wife has a 97 Grand cherokee Laredo straight 6. I bought it for her 7 years ago with 30k miles on it. Now it has 170k miles and it has been the best, reliable car we have ever had. I recently replaced the brakes all around and the U joints and it will need a Tune-up next spring. No other major service has been done to it. My wife loves it so much, I offered to get her a new Nissan Armada and she refused. She said she is gonna drive it til the wheels fall off.
My sister just gave me her old Jeep. It's a 1996 Grand Cherokee Laredo with the inline 6. Replaced the water pump in the first week and it was a shitty job.
I like it so far other than the fact that it has little power. It has a nice tight feel and drives very well.

Had a now out of print Jeep Commanche. Same as the Cherokee but a pickup body.
The 4.0 engine was a gem. Good power, bullet proof, never cost me a penny in 190,000 miles while the rest of the truck kept falling apart around it. My F150 runs as well as the day I bought it new, has cost me next to nothing in repairs and has about 60,000 more miles on it than the Jeep did when I sold it to a junk yard for $100.

98 Cherokee Sport 2" lift 30" tires on American Eagle Rims. I just rolled 100K with no problems. I have origenal exhaust which is starting to worry me because I know it has to fail soon. I've changed fluids, filters, brake pads, etc. and nothing else. However my NSS is getting dirty because sometimes my back up lights don't want to come on. Otherwise good, my second XJ the first was an 86 pioneer that was put to rest at 200K with no engine work. The body was shot though. Happy Jeeping!

Haven't had a Jeep yet But had a few 4x4's. Right now I have a 2002 z-71 and a 06 4runner limited. The 4runner will go through just about anything. My son and I take it to Coon Creek (It's an off road park close by) every now and then. I plan on lifting and puttin some bigger rubber on the Z-71 this spring.
Get on Ebay and order a performance air intake for 50 bucks shipped! rip out all of that old airbox BS and throw the new one on. i think the store name was 'chromeintakes'.....anyways it does the same job the K&N system does for about 250 bucks less!!.......after that, remove your catalytic converter and put a straight pipe in its place. you will notice a huge difference in power and fuel economy. just remember to keep your old catlaytic converter handy to pass the "visual" part of your states emissions tests. afterwards throw the straight pipe back on! best mods you can do under 100 bucks!!

i had a 1992 cherokee with the 4.0 and i drove the thing ito the ground and it never quite. i sold it because it was getting really ugly clear coat falling of and with 180,000 miles i still got a pretty penny. this jeep was relentless all i ever replaced was a water pump.

Are you trying to upload as an attachment? There should be an option to do so...but I don't believe tif files are supported.
If you are trying to hotlink, then the image needs to be hosted online.

2000 cherokee here. Love the little thing, it goes everywhere i want, and can go most places i don't. Currently it has a 1" lift and 30" BFGs, but it's going to grow bigger here next spring.

Brought a new (in 2002) Liberty Renegade for my wife was a great little car....lots of camping trips, that little tonka toy got us everywhere, very impressed....with a surco rack on top took all our camping stuff and more.....sold it last year to a family member with over 80,000 miles never had one single problem....we actually miss that car!......replaced it with a 2007 toyota 4runner...great car but kinda boring.......looking to buy a 4door wrangler.....rubicon in rescue green color...
Got to admit there is something about owning a Jeep.....really is an american Icon.......
