Anyone have experience with Mercedes 300E 93' model?

I can't seem to find any answers online concerning this car...

163,000 miles....is it ok to run synthetic in her? or a blend?

does it really take 7.8 quarts of oil??? LOL..

I have owned a few old Mercedes. I don't think that running synthetic would be an issue. My 280ce took 7 quarts of oil and my 560sec took 8 quarts if I remember correctly, so Yes, it does really take 7.8 quarts.

I had a 92 with the 3.0 l in it and that took 6 quarts. You have the 3.2 I believe. Check the forums.

yes, it is the 3.2 and I have checked out a couple of forums, and I can't seem to find a whloe about it..

any suggestions on forums?
