Almost better than the SH on twisties

I'm feeling better about taking on that Isuzu Trooper again after watching that! " . . . then we got bored." Hehehe - gotta love it!
I watched some hang gliders launch from Sandia peak while the winds were running into the canyon and up the face to the launch site. First guy went - had a great climb - circling slowly - gaining height with each rotation. Second guy went maybe 15 minutes later and the winds had gathered such force that he had everything on the line to get in front of that kite. He shot straight up 500 feet in 30 seconds. The third guy folded his tent.
Closest thing I got to personal aircraft was a J3. Big kite, despicable little engine. That's about as close as I wanted to get.
I'm all about going fast in the air but I want about 400 horsepower minimum as my escort.
