$65 to get Into NYC?
This is from another forum I'm on, but thought it was interesting. Of note, check the "see photos of toll evaders here" link. Several motorcycles too.
The toll to cross the George Washington bridge into New York City for a truck was $65. This guy had a better idea. Too bad an alert police officer was there! I mean come on, $65 to cross the bridge.

as an ex-pat I can tell you that it is cheaper to live in almost any state than in Ontario anywhere near the GTA, or in Alberta...
Canadians get overcharged and nickel and dimed for everything, with businesses just soaking up profit when the exchange rate on the US dollar gets close to par...I spent this past summer there and it was enough for me to realize I'm probably not going back anytime soon.
Gas, Insurance (ESPECIALLY motorcycle insurance), food, government "fees", it's just ridiculous.
