the pic with the paper & springs show there street baffle insert. i think it was an option but i wonder if they have street baffles installed ?

This happens a lot with people new to the bike. Parts for this bike are hard to find and many suppliers have quit listing the bike. So when parts come along there is a bidding war for not-so-good stuff.

Manufacturers also run seasonal specials that trickle down through the aftermarket outlets. When Harley season runs out - it's time to get into the hunt for new exhausts, seats, and other items that can be made during times that the showboats are parked.

I bought my Jardine high-mounts last year during the "slow" season for $419 with free shipping. I watched these exhausts sell used on ebay for more for months before I found my deal.

Those *are* nice pipes. Ti too.....but too round for my tastes. All about the oval here.

 

I dropped $300 for my V&H's on eBay. Still half the price of new, and were barely used. YMMV
