It's probably a good idea to go ask on the VFR forums... Just a tip...

sorry for the dumb question. will VFR clip ons fit a SH, without mods. If so since SH heli bars are so hard to find could i safely order VFR800 heli bars and bolt on to my 02 SH ???

Stock VFR bars are about the same height as Superhawk Heli bars, so VFR Heli bars are probably about 4" higher than our stock and will probably have serious fairing clearance problems on our bike. You will need a longer front brake line for sure and VFR Helibars might require longer throttle cables too. I have never heard of anyone using the VFR stock bars and still needing to go to VFR Heli bars.

Not all stock VFR bars will fit BTW, I think the range is 90-05 VFR that has the 41mm forks (same as ours). First generation VFR is too small and last generation too big.

Thanks for the info, i dont have VFR stock clip ons, i have VTR with gen mar risers. The reason i asked about VFR Heli bars is becuase VTR heli bars are hard to come by. I got the cables covered as i have upgraded to galfer SS.

you will need to cut the tabs off of the bottom of the VFR bars, and you will need to drill the holes into the VFR bars to accomodate the alignment tabs on the VTR controls.

Thanks, good to know. The bars I'm getting are 93 thru 96 and don't have end weights either. From previous threads, I will need the VFR weights, right?
