Do the Germans, Aussies, and Brits have a clue to what we're talking about?

Is it completely bad? Or just in need of adjustment? It is a rare part to fail.

LOL

anyway, tps out of adjustment and bad tps are two different things. tps outta adjustment means you have to notch the screw holes and twist it.

bad tps is bad news. I had to replace mine. NO one sells it individually for a good price. bikebandit has it but its 150 something iirc. I tried using ones from honda cars because they are the exact same design, except completely backwards. go look it up, you'll see it. i was like WTF when i saw it the first time.

my solution?

i had to buy a set of carbs for the tps.
=/

Well my bike is about 40 miles away from me so I'm pretty much relaying back n forth with what I'm reading here and what the guy working on my Hawk is saying. Wow $80. is alot better than $150 which is the same price they wanted at the bike scrap yard. I'll send out the TPS report to all that have replied to this post then I'm going to burn this place down!
