WTB speedometer cable

I have noticed that my speedometer and odometer have been intermittent throughout bumpy sections of the road.

Does anyone have a spare speedometer cable that they will give me, or that I can purchase? I am needing the wire that goes to the speedo sensor.

dont think our bikes have speedo cables. sounds like your sensor could be messed up. if you have a speedohealer on the bike make sure the cable isnt shorting out on something i had the same issue with my speedohealer cable

The whole sensor assy is #15 for $60
The sub-harness is #23 but it looks like it is special order and\or possibly not available.

You might want to check with the guys parting bikes out.

Mine played up a while back - Cleaned up speed sensor's connector where it plugins into loom and sprayed water dispersant at where it connects into back of engine - Good as new now.

Otherwise pick up second-hand one from fleabay

I'll throw another possibility out there . . .

This was the first symptom of my R/R dying a slow death (I eventually had other electrical problems as well, but it took a few weeks). I swapped the R/R out, and everything was fixed.
