WTB: short intake runner
WTB: short intake runner
AS I have now had the internal engine mods (milled and ported heads, Yoshi Stage 1 cams) performed/installed on my VTR, I would like to try running it with two short intake runners to see if there is any benefit in doing so. Does anyone have an extra one laying around they want to part with?
cheers

Mikstr, I have an extra set if you can't find them somewhere else. I have tried two long, two short and the stock setup and can't tell enough difference to go to the trouble of doing it again. I'm back to stock now.

Did I send the stock ones with the airbox? I thought I had, but if not I can double check the boxes in the garage and see if they are there. so let me know

You had indeed sent the two runners with the box. Problem is the short one got sacrificed in one of my experiments.... I am now running one long and one short (OEM set-up) and have an extra long one on hand now. The trials and tribulations of a mad scientist, lol
you have to crack a few intake runners to make an omelette, ,,,,,,,,,,or is it crack some eggs to make an engine.......or wait, ,,,,,,,,,bend some valves to get the CCTs installed...........I get confused. good luck.
