Don't replace it sith another POS honda one. Get an R1 or Gix one. There should be some threads here about using them. If not, the VFR boards are loaded with them.

I replaced the OEM unit with a finned model from a VFR and haven't had any problems. That being said, I still have my stock one (never had any problems with it, replaced it as a preventive measure) if you want it, would let it go cheap.
