What about this? Factory Pro Tuning Ignition Advancer - Advances +4 RTR-HON-77-04

Can this be done with good results on a stock bike?

Quantity in StockOut of Stock)
The part is not available, unless someone has new old stock.

Many sites still list it (like the one you linked to) but it can not be ordered.

Not sure if I want to sell them yet

I really want someone to reproduce these for Superhawk owners. Still nobody willing or actually, able to yet.

They are a stamped item i would think so the press mold will be expensive to make.

What about 3D printing them?

But 3D modeling and then making them on a machining center is not cost prohibitive if someone has the hookup.

Alas, I do not have the contacts

I have a friend that's willing to pay $250 for one! Way beyond my budget.

Stubborn SOB

I informed my buddy that he could get a Ignitech unit to accomplish the same thing for a bit more, but, he doesn't like electronics. That's why he relies on me to search this forum. Maybe because he's older than me (60+) and a bit more stubborn.. He put $250 cash in a envelope. pinned it to shop wall (must be nice, huh) and said "Someday I'll find one"

I got mine for $60 3 years ago.

Like all things for our bikes that enhance performance you gotta pay these days.

What are the disadvantages of installing one of these?
Why did Honda not put in more advance? Emissions reasons only?

The only disadvantage that I experienced is that they change the sound of the engine , with mine it exhibited a loud knocking noise that made me think that my water pump was shot.

It lead me to fit an electric water pump in an endeavour to get rid of the noise.

Alas it's still there but I am used to it now.

Others have reported the same thing.

Installing a + 4advance rotor is the same as rising all values in the ignition map by 4 - which is not recomandable, especially at higher revs du to knocking damage. But you can easily rise specific areas even at lower revs to get more pull.

It will have more pull but it will run hotter and depending on your fuel (ROZ) knocking can occur. As engines from Honda are pretty conservative in ignition timing there is some reserve though.
