I'm looking for a fork brace for the stock hawk forks. Brand isn't an issue. (I know coerse braces are on eBay.)

Thanks, Cody.

the title should read "WTB Inverted Forks" lol

although the price difference is considerable, it will net you much better performance to go the USD fork route. RC51, 929, 954, etc... after i sold my old parts, i only ended up spending $50 all together. with the swap i got RC forks, new clip ons, better RC brakes, a lighter front wheel, a better looking fender, new all ***** tapered head bearings, much beefier triple clamps, and all around a HUGE upgrade.

so planted, better feel, more rigid, and it looks so good on the VTR. im not saying you cant get good performance out of the stockers with valving, springs, a brace etc... but you get so much more out of an USD swap. with a CBR swap you can even get radial brakes calipers.

all that said, for the money a fork brace will gain you plenty without the hassle of a full on front end swap.

I'm actually waiting to do the front end swap because I'm going to be buying a second hawk to build a street fighter, so I will be using this front end for the street fighter and an inverted for this bike when that gets started. So for now I'm going to spend the lesser and get a brace.

If you find 2 i would like one as well.

Its hard to get forks USD forks here as they are snapped up to fix crashed bikes so the prices are high.

yea i got lucky in terms of price. i had wanted to do the USD swap for a while but wasnt really looking for parts. then i found a full RC front end i couldnt pass up for a sweet price. plus it was a lot cheaper and much less of a headache because i got all the parts at once rather than having to find each part from various places
