Anyone have a spare engine taking up valuable space?

 

Probably help if you post up where you're located as shipping probably isn't cheap-maybe you can get lucky. Welcome aboard!

 

Tri state area of north east pa, ny, nj is where the shipping would be. Certainly don't mind taking a ride to get the hawk running again.

 

Our forum is a great resource obviously. If you haven't already also have a look around the different areas around you on craigslist as well. I know of a couple superhawks being parted out within an hour of me down here in Florida. Anyone within driving distance of Rebirth with a good engine they'd like to sell?

 

Check this one out in Allentown. $1800 may be a little much for it but if you're swapping engines I'll bet you could part the rest of this bike out and still make a few bucks and have a free engine. Just an idea if you can't put your hands on a good engine for a fair price.

ha makes me wanna save up and just buy his bike but i have that reoccurring thought that if i rebuild mine or swap a good one thats one last thing to worry about haha

 

update: anyone have heads off a good running bike or a shop I can get mine rebuilt in nepa ny or nj?

In a word, no....... it will not fit without a lot of work and $$$$

 

Ebay has some heads for like 125-150 bux a head. Might need to check the clearance though and make sure that the one you buy didnt come off a bike with a cct failure.
