WTB: Corbin or Sergeant saddle.............

I'm in the market to buy a Corbin or Sargent saddle for my 04 Superhawk. It needs to be in near mint shape. I was bidding on one on ebay and was outbid in the last seconds of auction unfortunately. I figured this was a good place to find another due to alot of parts and bikes up for sale. If someone has one on a bike there selling but doesn't have another to replace it, I could throw in my factory one which is a thought. I just recently become a member on here as I just recently purchased the bike and i'm trying to put my personal touch on it. Let me know what you have through PM's. Also I just recently purchased some Heli-bars from another member on here if you need a reference regarding that transaction. Thank you

What part of the world are you in? I have a old style Corbin in decent shape that I'd part with. But I am lazy and useless when it comes to shipping, so if you are local you can have it for $170.

Also as a warning, while wider than stock and supportive, it is also hard as a rock and I went to a Sargent after trying this for a while.

yeah, i had a corbin, rode it for two days and it made my *** sore for a month. I sold it, put on the stock seat and never looked back. No experience with the Sargent, but I've heard good things. I'd go stock over Corbin anyday

I've heard by alot the Sargent saddles are more comfortable, however, i'm a sucker for the stitched design of the Corbins. Ultimately I will take either or, so someone sell me one!

Actually I'd say they are equally comfortable... The thing is you have to use them for what they are intended for... (at least the intended purpose as I can see it...)

The Corbin is wider, more *** shaped... And it's perfect for long distance riding, but a PITA if you want to move around on the saddle... The stock sadle is uncomfortable, but perfect for an active rider that spends most of the time hanging of the side of the saddle... The Sargent is a decent compromise of the two... Better comfort, and grippy surface that lets you plant your *** in one spot... Need to "lift" to slide though... But just as good as the stock one for hanging off...

The newer Corbins that is, my old style Corbin doesn't have the stitching on the seat.. Same shape and seat pan, but plain unstitched cover. (and yes it is the original Corbin cover, tag on it and everything)

I missed a nice deal on here for a newer corbin a week ago for $175 shipped as I was a hour too late seeing the post. Who wants to sell me one?

Don't the Corbins weigh a LOT more?
